Frequently asked questions

I would like more information on sunflowers. Where can I go?
I have a website devoted to selecting, growing, and showing sunflowers.  Northern Sunflowers  There are also links to other sunflower sites there.

Where do you find the sunflowers to photograph? When are they in full bloom?
Sunflower photos were taken in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Spain, and my garden. Variables like weather and planting date greatly affect when sunflowers grow into full bloom. In the upper midwest, the end of July through the beginning of August would be a good guess. In Spain they bloom about a month earlier.

Are your photographs digital? Do you photoshop your images?
I am now exclusively a digital photographer. Yes some of my prints have been digitally enhanced. All pictures were taken with Olympus cameras.

How are the prints shipped?
Prints are shipped Priority or First Class U.S. Mail
All prints, except panoramas and canvas, will be packaged flat, matted, with foam core backing, and in a plastic film bag. Prints are shipped in protective hardboard to prevent damage. All panoramas and canvas are rolled, packed and shipped in a protective box.
